Meet your election organizers and get involved this campaign season!

Our Voice Matters. Our Vote Matters.

Social workers are advocates every day—but our advocacy shouldn’t stop at the front door of our workplaces. With the November election approaching, now is the time to get involved, support candidates who understand the issues impacting our profession and the people we serve, and make your voice heard.

Get involved with the Michigan Political Action for Candidate Election (M-PACE) and help support endorsed campaigns between now and Election Day. Together, we can build political power for social workers and advance policies that strengthen our communities.

Learn more about our Political Action Committee, our endorsed candidates, and how to get involved at www.nasw-michigan.org/page/MPACE.

When mental health is under attack, what do we do? STAND UP, FIGHT BACK!

Today we made our voices heard at the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan headquarters in Detroit, opposing their harmful policy change to incident-to billing.

A huge thank you to all of the organizers, attendees, and speakers who made today possible, including Abdul El-Sayed, Rep. Mike McFall, Rep. Kim Edwards, Sen. Rosemary Bayer, Chris Gilmer-Hill, Caitlin and Noel from Healer’s Choice, and Chris DeBoer from MMHCA, along with the many others who have been organizing around this issue.

Today’s protest may be over, but this fight is not. We’ll keep pushing for solutions that protect our workforce and access to behavioral health care across Michigan.

Partner with us to support the social work community! 🤝✨

We’re seeking mission-aligned sponsors for our upcoming statewide conference, A Space for Us: A Virtual Conference on the State of Social Work, taking place live on Thursday, September 17, 2026.

This full-day event brings together social workers, clinicians, agency leaders, and educators across Michigan and beyond to address critical workforce issues—including workplace moral injury, ethical practice, and secondary trauma mitigation.

Why Sponsor?

Direct Reach: Put your brand, services, or organization in front of engaged mental health and human services professionals.

Demonstrate Commitment: Show tangible support for clinician well-being, workforce sustainability, and professional development.

Visibility: Gain prominent digital recognition before, during, and after the event.

Whether you're an agency, educational institution, behavioral health provider, or community partner, we’d love to collaborate with you.
