Message from Adjutant/Quartermaster Barry Walter regarding Camp Trotter:

We are putting out the call for an all out work weekend at Camp Trotter on this coming Friday - Saturday - Sunday May 29 - 31. We will be at Camp Mid morning on Friday.

This work party weekend is important to us as we make final grounds and building preparation for the camping season and the arrival of staff for training following State Convention.

We need you to come for a day, or two days.
Bring rakes and leaf blowers. We have cleaning supplies.

If you plan on spending the night please bring your bedding and towels.

Please come join us as we prepare for the new camping season.

The 26-27 Program Pin as been raised to $3.00 each. Cost of pins have gone up, and our price has not. So when making your check out, please make the necessary adjustment. 50 pins will be $150.00 and etc. Thank you for all you do to make our Dept. Program a success.

Hello Everyone,

Staffing: We are fully hired at 19 people. Staff bios are being uploaded to the site as they come in: vfwcamptrotter.org/default.asp?pid=34051

Training & Certifications: All required training certifications have been scheduled or completed.
Program & Licensing: Program and site license updates are complete.

Enrollment: I recently solved the issue of secure electronic enrollment submission at no cost to the organization. Families can now complete and submit enrollment documents entirely online: vfwcamptrotter.org/default.asp?pid=34053

We currently only have 30 campers signed up out of 440 available spots, with the first session's enrollment window closing June 19th.

Thank you all for your continued support and dedication as we relaunch Camp Trotter. Despite the enrollment challenge, the infrastructure is in place, the program is well-built, and the team is ready. This is an exciting moment for the camp, and I am glad to be a part of it.
