The VFW honors the life and legacy of Diane Carlson Evans, Vietnam War Army nurse and trailblazing founder of the Vietnam Women's Memorial, who passed away last week.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage shaped the freedoms we cherish, and their sacrifice continues to inspire generations.

At the VFW National Home, we believe remembrance is more than a moment — it is a promise to honor, to support, and to carry forward the legacy of those who gave everything for others.

Today, we reflect with grateful hearts, honor with deep respect, and remember with enduring love.

May we never forget those who made freedom possible. ❤️🤍💙
