Please register to give written or public comments during the NPDES Draft Permit Public Hearing on Thurs. June 18 (TONIGHT) at 6 p.m. EST.

We need EVERYONE to register and attend the meeting even if you don’t give public comment!

The State of Michigan is taking public comments on a key water discharge permit for Enbridge’s proposed Line 5 oil tunnel now through June 30. Enbridge is requesting a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit, which violates our Great Lakes laws.

If this permit passes, 6 million gallons of wastewater can be dumped into Lake MI every day for an entire year. 🤢
