It’s been one year too many. 🛑

Join our members at Michigan League of Conservation Voters on May 23 to rally against the continued operation of the Campbell Coal Plant. With a new executive order expected this Monday, it’s time to speak up about the true cost to our health and our wallets.

Wishing all participants in today’s annual Lead Education today an inspiring and meaningful day of action against one of Michigan’s most toxic threats.

For the past 16 years, our lead safe home coalition has hosted this free event in Lansing to help end lead poisoning. It's a time where healthcare professionals, building contractors, concerned residents and families of sickened children come together to talk to our state lawmakers about the threats of lead poisoning and what they can do to stop them. These efforts have helped secure millions of dollars in funding and pass better health laws.

This year, we're focusing the advocacy day's efforts towards pushing forward a bold new $10 million bill package to protect Michiganders from lead.

Big thanks to Delta Dental of Michigan for sponsoring this important event, and to all who are taking part.
