🌎 As Hispanic Heritage Month comes to a close, the learning doesn't have to.

Observed September 15 through October 15, Hispanic Heritage Month celebrates the histories, cultures, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities. As we wrap up this month, it's a great opportunity to keep learning, challenge assumptions, and recognize the perspectives that strengthen our communities.

TRAINING: Leveling Up: A Practical Framework for Self-Advocacy
This interactive session introduces the **Leveling Up Loop**, a practical, repeatable framework for self-advocacy and personal growth. Participants begin with introspection, using guided reflection to identify their strengths, values, interests, and aspirations. The session distinguishes broad aspirations from specific goals, helping participants clarify not only what they want, but why it matters.
Next, the pursuance phase turns that clarity into action. Participants learn how to ask focused, relevant, assertive, mindful, and eloquent questions; develop SMART goals; and break larger ambitions into manageable goals and concrete tasks. Emphasis is placed on ex*****on, adaptability, and the understanding that plans may evolve as new information and opportunities emerge.
The final phase, advancement, reframes progress as continuous growth rather than a single outcome. Participants explore perseverance, gratitude, and the value of empowering and inspiring others. Through examples, activities, and accountability planning, they leave with a clearer sense of direction, an actionable next step, and a partner who can help them follow through. Ultimately, the session encourages participants to advocate for themselves confidently, view unfinished goals as "in progress," and use each experience as a springboard to the next level.

Great leaders know that managing the work and developing the people are two different skills, and both matter.
In this practical, interactive session, participants will learn how to recognize when to manage, when to coach, and when to provide feedback. Leaders will explore the framework of effective feedback and practice using coaching questions that encourage team members to think, take ownership, and build their own problem-solving skills.
The goal is simple: build leaders who can not only get the work done, but develop people who are capable of doing more.
