MCC President & CEO Teri Quimby recently had the opportunity to tour PADNOS and learn more about the company and its operations in Michigan.

PADNOS provides scrap management and recycling solutions for ferrous and nonferrous metals, plastics, paper and electronic scrap.

Connecting with community partners through facility tours provides valuable insight into the work being done across the business of chemistry and the many industries it supports.

The newly renovated Hazmat Training Unit at the Michigan State Police Training Center provides comprehensive, cost-effective training to help public and private agencies prepare for hazardous materials response.

With simulation equipment including railcars, tank trailers, storage tanks and protective gear, the facility offers a realistic environment for hands-on training and emergency preparedness.

The Michigan Chemistry Council is proud to support the Center and its continued efforts to strengthen hazardous materials response capabilities across Michigan.
