In celebration of Juneteenth, sometimes referred to as Freedom Day, the DDRC offices will be closed on Thursday June 18. The day is a remembrance of the date in 1866 when Union soldiers enforced the Emancipation Proclamation and freed all remaining slaves in Texas.

Jefferson County just launched Westracks—a FREE weekend summer shuttle connecting the Golden RTD W Line to some of our favorite foothills destinations!

Whether you want to explore Dinosaur Ridge, visit the trading post at Red Rocks, or spend an afternoon in downtown Morrison, this shuttle makes it entirely accessible. No driving, no fighting for parking spots, and completely free to ride. 🙌

The shuttle loops every 15 minutes on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from Memorial Day through Labor Day. We love seeing our community invest in resources that make Colorado's natural beauty accessible to all our neighbors!

From coordinating medical care and managing medications to training staff and supporting person-centered care, their compassion and expertise make a lasting difference.
