Getting our hands dirty and creativity flowing at Pottery Merit Badge! 🏺🎨

Scouts had an awesome time learning pottery techniques, shaping clay on the wheel, and creating some impressive projects. From first-time potters to future master artists, everyone had a chance to explore their creativity and make something unique!

A big thank you to everyone who joined us for a day full of clay, laughs, and hands-on learning.

Kick off the Summer at CAP and earn the Cooking Merit Badge—an essential (and delicious!) step toward Eagle Scout.

Over the June 6th-7th weekend, Scouts will learn how to plan balanced meals, practice safe food handling, and cook with confidence both at home and in the outdoors.

From prepping ingredients to creating full meals, this session is perfect for Scouts who want to build real-life skills they’ll use for years to come. Plus… you get to eat what you make! 😄

On May 23rd CAP will host the Entrepreneurship Merit Badge—where Scouts will learn how to think like innovators and bring their ideas to life.

During this hands-on session, Scouts will:
📊 Explore how businesses start and succeed
🧠 Develop and evaluate their own business ideas
💰 Learn the basics of planning, marketing, and finances

By the end, Scouts will begin building their own business plan and discover how entrepreneurs turn ideas into reality—an experience that builds leadership, problem-solving, and creativity skills that last a lifetime.
