𝐀𝐀𝐅'𝐬 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧!
These grants are designed to help Colorado animal welfare organizations support the care of companion animals across our state.

Applicants can apply under three categories:

𝘎𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘖𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 — reserved for organizations with an established, current funding relationship with AAF
𝘈𝘯𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘭 𝘗𝘰𝘱𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘴 — past requests have included spay/neuter, access to care, behavior support, in-state animal transfers, and similar work to help manage pet populations across Colorado
𝘖𝘳𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘻𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘊𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘴 — past requests have included staff and board training, equipment and repairs, technology needs, and emergency preparedness

Los Huerfanos Animal Welfare Association and community partners marked a major milestone with the largest spay/neuter clinic yet held in Walsenburg. Over 230 owned pets and community cats received spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, and/or microchipping, supporting healthier animals and fewer unwanted litters across the community.

AAF is proud to support LHAWA's work in Southern Colorado.

What an incredible impact! Bergen Spay and Neuter Alliance, in partnership with Denver Animal Shelter, helped 332 dogs and cats at a recent clinic receive spay/neuter procedures, vaccines, microchips, and nail trims.

AAF was proud to sponsor and grateful to attend the Western Colorado Animal Resources Welfare Summit last week. It was an incredible regional gathering that created meaningful opportunities to connect, collaborate, and learn. With 25+ organizations in attendance, Colorado Animal Rescue did an outstanding job hosting this education-packed conference. We are inspired by the work happening across the Western Slope and beyond, and look forward to more opportunities like this in the future.
