Happy 17 th birthday to my Angel Cashie.
17 yrs ago , making a very dramatic entrance into our lives.

I can’t believe it’s been 17 years.
What would you look like now?
How tall would you be?
What High School?

I don’t dwell on the what would have been anymore… although it’s totally normal to do that as a grieving mom. But I do feel it. Still. Always . I’m thinking forever.

I choose to be here now.
Count my blessings , my joys, my gratitude, my lessons, to be of service to others .
Provide the snacks- just don’t ask me to cook. Do the work. Do the yoga.

You have changed me in the most profound way.
Brought me to my knees and cracked my cold heart open. Yes cold heart - I only really open it to very few- or I did.
You Made me a better Mom to your little brother . Thank goodness for that. He needs it. He deserves it. Please continue to watch out for him. And us.

100% I’m speechless.

Cash was born jan 18 2007.......and at that time there was NO screening because most Doctors even knew SMA was a possibility.

None to 100 %
17 yrs
With FDA approved treatments and so much more research ongoing.

Speechless.

And so grateful for everyone who has jumped on board the Concert For Cash train.
Let’s get together soonish and make some more dreams happen.
