Be prepared to respond to accidents and to a crisis in both Scouting and your daily life. Last day for registration is tomorrow!

The American Heart Association (AHA) First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) "CPR and AED" course will prepare you to administer lifesaving action. Combined, the two courses satisfy Scouting requirements for Boating Trips, prepare you for Camp Health Officer (CHO) duties and are the foundation for becoming a Lifeguard.

Adventure Starts Here—Take Aim and Join In!

Participants will have the chance to learn the fundamentals of climbing, BB gun and slingshot shooting, including safety, proper technique, and target practice, all under the direct supervision of Scouting America–certified COPE/Climbing and Rangemasters who ensure a safe and supportive environment at every step.

Beyond the excitement of hitting targets and trying something new, the event is designed to introduce families to local Scouting opportunities and encourage youth development through hands-on activities that build confidence, focus, and discipline.

To add to the excitement, participants will have the chance to compete within their age groups, with top performers from each bracket earning recognition at Forge Fest on September 19.

The event will be held on Sunday, September 13 at 5:00 PM (1700 hours) at the MWR Recreational Shooting Range 23A aboard Fort Polk, Louisiana.
