Another great week of the unofficial, "St. Joseph Shelter Garden Club" 🌱 We have lettuce, spinach, cabbage, and many native ornamentals that are attracting monarch caterpillars!

Big thanks to our Rayne Catholic Elementary volunteers for getting their hands dirty, expert gardener volunteers for their guidance, and Acadiana Native Plant Project for donating the plants!

From a sunset ribbon cutting to two more days of insight, stories, and eye-opening experiences, the People of Hope Museum made quite a stop in Acadiana!

It was impressive to see so many people walk through the doors ready to learn more about the struggles our neighbors face. We hope you left with more than something to think about—with a renewed desire to build a brighter, more compassionate community.

Whether you visited, worked behind the scenes, or helped us promote, thank you for being part of it! And a huge thank-you to Catholic Charities USA for creating this incredible museum and bringing it to Lafayette.

Stop by Blackham Coliseum next Tuesday or Wednesday to check out this free,
immersive traveling museum, that blends storytelling and interactive exhibits into a powerful experience of what it means to serve your neighbor and walk a mile in their shoes.
