Camp Bon Coeur

Camp Bon Coeur Support, programs and camps for children with heart defects and their families. Summer Camp is held each June for heart children ages 7 - 16.

What began in 1985 as a camp for children with heart defects has grown to include support groups, Family Camp, monthly get togethers and more! For the past five years we have included services for adults with congenital heart defects too. We typically have about 45 campers per year from across the state and nation. Campers experience typical camp activities such as horseback riding, swimming, hea

rt class, sports, art, canoeing and archery just to name a few. Family Camp is for camp families of any age including adults with CHDs and their families. This weekend is designed for families to meet others in similar situations, to create a support network and most importantly for family bonding and fun. Typically held in January, this event is a CBC favorite! Year-round activities. We offer support, information and a listening ear when needed. From phone calls to support groups, we are there for our campers and families! Our support group activities will soon resume via Zoom.

I love hearing the questions that the campers ask and watching their enthusiasm for this learning opportunity!
