The Folk Roots Kids Camp is such a fun way to enrich our youth with the tools to continue to preserve our unique traditions here in Acadiana. In this 5-day camp kids aging from 8-14 years old will experience fun-filled traditional music instrument classes, creating folk crafts, French language singing, and so much more!🎻

We want to help the kiddos of Acadiana's future by giving out TWO scholarships that will fully pay for the registration fee to allow two kids to prosper in the enrichment of our culture!

Here's how to apply:
🎶Follow both pages of Acadiana Roots and Louisiana Folk Roots
🎶Comment "interested" under this post
🎶And share this post

Applications close at midnight on Tuesday June, 15th and we will be contacting the winners at noon same day!

Dewey Balfa Cajun & Creole Heritage Week - where the music never ends! We had such a great turnout for camp this year. Thank you to all the incredible musicians and instructors who dedicated their time and energy throughout the week. Thank you to all of the campers, who make this week so special, to the cooks, who kept us well fed, and to everyone who came out for just a day or a night to hang with us!
