Regreening Louisiana

Regreening Louisiana To date, we have distributed almost 50,000 trees! We started distributing trees after the 2005 hurricanes, with donations from the Arbor Day Foundation.

We are citizens working to replant trees lost in the Louisiana hurricanes of the last few years, under a non-profit umbrella with contributions from the Arbor Day Foundation.

This August will be 20 years since Hurricanes Katrina and Rita and our distribution with almost 50,000 tree seedlings happened the two years afterwards. Just curious, if you got a tree from us (most were given out at South Louisiana libraries), can you send us a photo of the tree now? My bald cypress grew so tall!
