Zeta Xi Brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha

The 48th Reunion of Zeta Xi Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha, Inc. is planned for the UL Lafayette Homecoming weekend of November 4-6, 2016. Zeta Xi will celebrate 48 years on UL’s campus and we are inviting you to participate with us as we continue the fraternity’s dynamic legacy of service and scholarship.

On Friday, November 4, 2016 we are meeting at the fraternity house on 803 North Pierce in Lafayette. Brother Dr. James Caillier will give a talk on the history of Zeta Xi Chapter beginning in the early 1960’s and its affiliation with Eta Gamma Lambda.

On Saturday, November 5, 2016, we will tailgate with the undergraduate Brothers on the east side of football stadium from 12 pm. until 4 pm kickoff. Tickets for the game can be purchased at the gate or online at: www.ticketmaster.com or by phone at (800) 745-3000.

After the football game the Christiana Smith African American Alumni Chapter will sponsor an event on campus at the Alumni Center, 600 E. St. Mary, beginning at 8:00 p.m. We are asking all Brothers to support this activity, which is one of the signature programs of the Christiana Smith Chapter. Tickets for the event can be purchased at the door for $10.00 per person.

On Sunday morning, November 6, 2016, we are asking all Brothers to participate in a church service at Trinity CME Church located at 604 Lee Avenue in Lafayette. Our Brother Donald Valliere, Sr. is a minister there and he is asking us to be at Trinity no later than 9:30 am, service begins promptly at 10:00 a.m.
