Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave everything in service to our country. Their sacrifice made the freedoms we enjoy possible.

At WWH, we believe honoring our heroes means action. Through healing outdoor experiences like fishing and hunting trips, we help veterans reconnect, find peace, and build lasting bonds with fellow warriors.

This Memorial Day, we remember the fallen by living with gratitude for the freedoms they gave their lives to protect.

The 2026 Wounded War Heroes Bass Tournament at Toledo Bend brought together 39 disabled veterans and 39 volunteer boat captains from Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas and Texas for two incredible days on the water! Thanks to the support of our sponsors, volunteers and Wildwood Resort, our veterans experienced healing, camaraderie, and the kind of brotherhood and sisterhood that mirrors their time in service. The event offered participants a chance to reconnect with nature, bond with fellow veterans, and share powerful stories of how a simple fishing trip can truly change lives.
