Yesterday at 3535 McCarty Lane, a crew of absolute legends showed up and got it done.
Years of piled-up stuff, forgotten or finished projects, and loose ends? Psssshhh...They attacked it. Hauling, sorting, carrying heavy loads up and down, organizing late into the night.

Big shoutout to the whole Icebreakers crew, and especially to our own Dana and Sally from Phoenix Paramedic Solutions, as well as Sally's husband, who all helped, too. Dana stayed till almost 10pm coordinating and making sure it all got handled right. Mickey Angels Gabriel Deise Dylan Sturdivant Julian Pridemore Wesley Rock Austin and Kelly Dix thank you all so much for your time and hard work.

This is the kind of ethos we’re building The Odyssey Project on: showing up, putting in real work, and doing what needs to be done together.
Grateful as hell for every person who rolled up their sleeves. Y’all crushed it.

2nd shift? Kids and no sitter? No daytime meetings that work for your schedule? No ride to get here? We got you.
Same vibe as the Thursday night group. Kids are welcome. No lectures, no judgment — just real people building real connections. All pathways, all people welcome.

Rainy days are for reflection—and today we have an opportunity for you to share your story and earn $200. 🗣️✨

The Odyssey Project was asked to share a research study from the CERRC (a partnership including Yale University and JustLeadershipUSA). They are looking for people to participate in a 60-90 minute interview about the intersection of substance use and the legal system.

Are you eligible?
✅ 18+ years old
✅ Experience with substance use challenges
✅ Involvement with the criminal legal system since 2019 (juvenile or adult)
✅ Comfortable chatting over Zoom

Welcome.
If you haven't followed us, we are focused on community programming in Lafayette — social events, creative projects, and peer-led groups for anyone looking for connection and a place to contribute. From recreational groups to educational workshops, to a public speaking club and an art space for painting, we try to offer something for everyone. Check our Events tab for what's coming up. We're adding more all the time.
