We are pleased to announce our annual Trestle Table picnic, scheduled for June 14 from 5-7 pm on the lawn of the Farmers Institute Friends Meeting House. The menu will feature pulled pork, smoked brisket, a variety of salads, fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as drinks, strawberries, and shortcake. To ensure an accurate headcount, we kindly request reservations. This event presents a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with friends and establish new connections. Proceeds will support our ongoing efforts to restore the Boarding House. The event will be held at Farmers Institute, 4626 West 660 South, Lafayette, IN 47909. Today marked another day of accomplishment, with the scaffolding in place and further siding installed on the east end of the Farmers Institute Boarding House. We are fortunate to have a remarkably diligent crew. Our volunteers deserve recognition for their efforts in painting the boards and maintaining a pace that keeps our installers on track.
