Any prescription eyewear, sunglasses, safety glasses, etc are all welcome- just make sure they are in one piece! No loose lenses, contact lenses, or cases, please.

"There are moments in life when help arrives so unexpectedly that it leaves you speechless. For me, that moment came through the Lions Club.
As an international student, far from home and family, I’ve learned to navigate new challenges—new systems, new cultures, and sometimes, new struggles I hadn’t anticipated. One of those struggles was something as simple, yet as vital, as being able to see clearly. My vision had become a barrier—reading, studying, even walking across campus felt harder each day.
Then came the Lions Club.
With open hearts and no hesitation, they provided me with new glasses—restoring not only my sight, but also my sense of hope. I remember slipping on those lenses and realizing how much I had been missing: the crisp outlines of leaves, the smiles on faces, the quiet beauty of everyday life.
But what touched me most wasn’t just what they gave—it was how they gave. The Lions Club didn’t just offer assistance; they extended community. They reminded me that service is love in action, and that compassion can bridge every distance, culture, and circumstance.
For over a century, Lions Clubs have lived by the simple but powerful motto: “We Serve.” They have fought blindness, provided glasses, built schools, fed families, and lifted spirits around the world. I am now one of the many lives touched by that mission.
To everyone reading this—know that your kindness matters. A single act of generosity can change the way someone sees the world, and sometimes, quite literally, it helps them see the world again.

Lafayette Lions Lead The Way- in community service! Today’s Project SchoolSight Vision Screening at Hershey Elementary screened over 300 kids, making over 1500 kids screened this week alone! Thanks again to our partners at Purdue Women’s Club and Purdue Nursing!
