2026 WGAP Effie Derr Robey Cup Champions Crowned!

☀️⛳ Despite blistering heat, the competition at the WGAP Effie Derr Robey Cup, sponsored by Maelys Cosmetics, was nothing short of outstanding at Merion West Golf Club on Friday, June 12. In the challenging alternate shot format, Catherine Twitmyer and Maude Wood Kent of Merion rose to the top, carding an impressive 4-under-par 70 to capture the title! 🏆

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated volunteers, generous sponsors, and the incredible staff at Merion West for their hard work and unwavering commitment in difficult conditions. Your efforts helped make this premier WGAP event a tremendous success. Congratulations to all who competed! 💚🏌️‍♀️🌟

🌿⛳ What a beautiful day for the WGAP Class BCD Better Ball of Partners Tournament at LedgeRock Golf Club! Surrounded by stunning natural scenery at every turn, players enjoyed fabulous weather and a spectacular setting for competition. Congratulations to our Class B Champions - Shari Zola & Chris Reilly; Class C Champions- Tammy Ciancitto & Sue Rosica; and Class D Champions- Jennifer Chalphin & Cyndy Pagliaro! A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated volunteers whose hard work kept the day running smoothly, and to the supportive LedgeRock staff for their outstanding hospitality. WGAP Travels to Greece!

Greece has officially moved to the top of the golf bucket list. 🇬🇷☀️⛳ A few days exploring Athens followed by incredible golf, amazing views, and unforgettable sunsets at Costa Navarino. The courses were spectacular, but the people, food, and experience have made the trip even better.

Golf really does take you places.

WGAP Chairmen's Scramble Kicks Off the 2026 Season

The 2026 WGAP tournament season is officially underway following a fantastic day at the Chairman’s Scramble at beautiful Moselem Springs Golf Club! The morning began with a breakfast meeting where Board President Theresa Grentz shared an inspiring vision for the future of WGAP—highlighting exciting plans for the 2026 season and beyond. Attendees also celebrated the unveiling of WGAP’s new logo, honoring our rich history while embracing a bold vision for what’s ahead.

Following the meeting, players took to the course in four-player scramble teams, with cloudy skies giving way to bright sunshine as the day unfolded—setting the stage for a perfect kickoff to the season. Congratulations to our winning team of Delia Keys, Deborah Larson, Paula Chua, and Sue Harbaugh, who captured the title with an impressive 8-under par 65! 👏

Here’s to an incredible season of golf, camaraderie, and competition—let the 2026 WGAP season begin!
