Today is the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, and this years theme is Safe Homes for All. A reminder that everyone deserves the opportunity to live with dignity and build a better future.

At Habitat MontDelco, we believe that access to safe housing is an important step toward breaking the cycle of poverty. Through affordable homeownership and critical home repairs, we work alongside our community to help individuals and families build stability, create opportunities, and find a place to call home.

Everyone deserves a safe place to live. Together, we can help build a future where more people have the opportunity to thrive. 💙

Every veteran deserves a decent place to live. Veterans Build 2026 is a unique opportunity to unite veterans, veteran-owned businesses, and veteran ERGs, along with like-minded individuals who share a deep commitment to service and community, to rehab a home for local individuals and families.

If you'd love to help give back to our veteran community, for $5,000 your team of up to 10 will work with our construction team on a build site. The Build Day will start at 9 AM with a group photo and a safety briefing. We'll provide plenty of water and lunch at noon. The day will conclude at 3 PM, with an opportunity to write a heartfelt message for the future homeowner.

Released this week, Habitat for Humanity's latest global research reveals that 48% of people globally say one unexpected problem could threaten their ability to stay housed.

But the survey also reveals a more troubling reality. People may have shelter, but that does not mean their housing feels affordable, safe, stable, dignified, healthy or capable of supporting the life they are trying to build.

They are paying hidden costs — in stress, cutbacks and painful trade-offs impacting their futures. Here at Habitat Montdelco we are working toward lowering this statistic throughout our community.

Something wonderful happened at our West Norriton Habitat ReStore this week!
Our incredible staff and 5 volunteers helped give the outside of our store a much needed refresh. Together, they tackled landscaping, trimming, cleaning, and sprucing up the property, completely transforming the space in a short amount of time!

Even a few unexpected hornets couldn't stop this determined crew! 🐝

At Habitat, volunteers don't just help us build homes. They help us strengthen every part of our mission, including our ReStores, where every purchase helps support affordable homeownership and critical home repairs in Montgomery and Delaware Counties.

It feels like our Under One Roof event was just last week! We’re so grateful to everyone who joined us to learn more about what Habitat MontDelco does for our community and our commitment to building safe homes for everyone.

We were excited to introduce our new CEO, Michele Moll, and hear from one of our homeowners, Salif, who shared his story with us.

To everyone who attended, thank you for being part of such a memorable evening! And to our incredible staff, thank you for all your hard work in bringing this event to life. We couldn’t have done it without you!
