We absolutely could NOT have had the BEST GUAC EVER without these amazing partners! HUGE shoutout and thanks to our hosts who brought the energy AGAIN this year - Denny Perdue and Holly Hanes. Our incredible Kansas City Chefs - 2025 AND 2026 Reigning Guac Your World Champion Dai'Quon Watts (Rogue Dining KC), Fernanda Reyes (TACONACO KC), Philip Thompson (Kauffman), Tiffany Meixuiro ( Bird Taqueria) and Charlie Kenna (Beer Kitchen). And our celebrity judges! Chef Mario (Trio International), Miss Missouri Courtney Rowe, Michael Mackie - MichaelMackie.com, Fernanda Reyes and Durrel Harper (who won the dance-off to be our 5th judge!).

Gauc Your World 2026 blew the roof off 28 Event Spaces - The Kansas City Room & The Station Thursday May 28. We pulled off the pivot of the century - changing venues 6 hours before our event thanks to KC weather, and still had the BIGGEST, MOST SUCCESSFUL AND HIGHEST ENERGY GUAC YET!

Everyone enjoyed and voted on 2 finalists from the unique and delicious tacos prepared by four competing chefs for the coveted KC Shepherd's Center "I Do It For The Tacos" trophy and bragging rights. Our 5 celebrity judges included internationally acclaimed Chef Mario, and TACONACO KCNACO KC Fernanda Margarita Reyes, Miss Missouri Courtney Rowe, Michael Mackie - MichaelMackie.com and our crowd-selected dance-off winner as our 5th judge. The judges named the 2026 champion from the 2 finalists, Chefs Dai Quon and Philip in a live onstage mystery ingredient cook-off.

Hosts extraordinaire, Denny Perdue and not one but two beauty queens, Holly Hanes and Courtney Rowe, Miss Missouri graced the stage - and our guests. ThirtyOne:Thirty Events knocked it out of the park. And everyone SHOWED UP FOR SENIORS had a great time while raising funds to support our mission to honor our elders by celebrating, empowering and serving ALL older adults.
