On Saturday, our 2026-2027 New Member Class gathered for a morning designed to be about more than becoming a member. It was about becoming part of a community.

From brunch with Advisors and small groups to touring our League home, learning more about the women in their class, and discovering new ways to connect throughout the year, the morning was filled with meaningful conversations, new friendships, and plenty of moments to remember.

Whether you’ve called Kansas City home your whole life or you’re just getting to know the city, joining the Junior League is an opportunity to find your people while growing, serving, and making an impact together.

This week, our Community Council kicked off the 2026–2027 League year by bringing together volunteers from Project Period, Madame President, Community Engagement, and Flourish Furnishing for an evening of connection, collaboration, and inspiration.

Members enjoyed team-building activities, heard invaluable insights from a panel of our Sustainers about their volunteer journeys, and left energized to make a meaningful impact in our community.

We're excited to see all that this incredible group will accomplish throughout the year. Here's to a year of service, leadership, and making a difference together! ✨
