Many admin–executive partnerships rely on workarounds.

Extra emails. Check-ins. Calendar fixes. πŸ”

Admins often carry that system β€” mentally.

Alignment replaces workarounds with shared ownership. And that’s where partnership starts to feel more balanced. 🀝

Two boards walk into a room. One board walks out.

Big news: the IAAP and IAAP Foundation boards have unanimously approved merging into a single board with a subsidiary model, starting with the July 2026 governance term.

In plain terms, that means one governing body, less duplication, and a more unified way of serving the admin professionals we exist for.

This idea has been in the works since the IAAP Foundation launched in 2012. It took a while. Good governance usually does.

More details to come as the transition rolls out. For now: a big thank-you to both boards for making it happen. πŸŽ‰
