For Open Roads, the fall and winter seasons allow our staff time to work on shop projects that we otherwise wouldn’t have time for in the summer. To kick off this renovation season, our shop manager, Benjamin, just built a new tube storage system for us. This tube storage allows us to store over 350 tubes directly in our shop.

Next time you come by the shop, make sure you take a second to appreciate this cool new addition to Open Roads.

It truly wouldn’t be an Open Roads event without a bike ride involved, so get ready for the Bike-a-Palooza bike ride!

This ride is a part of our fall event, Bike-a-Palooza, but is open to anyone regardless of whether you are attending the event or not!

The ride will leave from the alley connected to the Desenberg at 4:30 sharp on Oct. 10th. From there, we will complete a short 2.5 mile route that will include a stop at our shop. This is a no-drop, slow roll.

Helmets are required for the event, so please plan accordingly. Open Roads staff will be available to air up tires and provide minor fixes before the ride. Bike lights suggested but not required.

After the ride, bike parking will be available for guests inside of the Desenberg.

Feel free to message us if you have any questions about this ride. Don’t forget to purchase your bike-a-Palooza tickets through the link in our bio.

We can’t wait to see you all there!

The night will include a bike ride, games, a raffle, German food, and so much more! You might even get to walk away with one of our custom Open Roads steins!

We can’t wait to see you all there! Tickets can be purchased on our website or through the link in our bio.

Special shout out to our friends at First Day Shoe Fund who helped us source these awesome shoes for our shop.

At Open Roads it is a requirement for all guests to wear closed toe shoes while working in our shop. These loaner shoes will ensure that we never have to turn away a guests for lack of proper footwear.

Thank you again to First Day Shoe Fund!

Teens, are you ready to gear up to learn the fundamentals of fixing your bike? Learn to adjust your bike to fit YOU, the rider, with bike mechanics from Open Road by replacing tires and tubes, adjusting gears, and replacing bike chains and brake pads.

At the end of the program, celebrate your accomplishment and enjoy a group ride, weather permitting. When completed, you will take home the bike you worked on.

Register via the link in our bio!

Are you in the market for a lightly used ebike? Are you planning to attend Bike-a-Palooza? If you answered yes to both of those questions, then you’re in luck!

During our Bike-a-Palooza event, we will be raffling off this awesome Trek Verve 2. This bike has only 20 miles on it and retailed for about $2,200. This bike has a Bosch motor and is perfect for a rider between the heights of 5’7’’ and 6’0’’.

Guests can buy tickets for $20 apiece at the event bar. Increase your chances of winning by purchasing more tickets!

Our raffle winner will be announced at the end of the evening. Good luck!
