YWAM Ship Kona is one location in the growing network known as YWAM Ships.

This network represents independent vessels in many global YWAM locations. These vessels are named and operated uniquely and are varied in shape and size. Together we share in YWAM’s vision of seeing 40 ships linking the resources and innovations of YWAM’s University of the Nations to the needs of people via the port cities, rivers and beaches of the world. Each YWAM Ships location is a separate organization with its own board of directors and local structure. We are linked through relationships. We are a movement of volunteers, primarily made up young people.

We had an amazing time of fellowship with the leaders and elders from our community. We were able to worship, pray, and go deep into Hawaii's history.

Check out this testimony from the Liberty! A donated pair of glasses, willing volunteers, and a moment we’re thanking God for. 🤍

“All clear.”
Two words from a man who has struggled to see since he was five.
The first image is a simulation of what the world may have looked like through Benni’s eyes before he came into our eye clinic. Pause for a moment. Then swipe to meet him wearing his new glasses, alongside Addy and Maggie.
Benni needed a -18 prescription. And among the donated glasses we received, there was a pair strong enough to help him.
We keep thinking about everything that came together for that moment.
Someone chose to give those glasses. Addy and Maggie said yes to travelling across the world to serve. And Benni stepped out in faith to find out whether clearer sight was possible for him.
Then came those two words: “All clear.”
The last photo shows the clinic clearly a glimpse of the details we can so easily take for granted.
We don’t always get to see where a donation ends up, or what someone’s yes will make possible. This time, we got to stand beside Benni and see it.
It’s hard to put into words how grateful we are to be part of his story. To partner with heaven and see God’s love and mercy reach someone through something as practical as a pair of glasses.
Every name matters. Today, we’re thanking God for Benni.
Please keep standing with us in prayer as we pour our time and resources into the days and weeks ahead. There are more people waiting for care, and we want each one to experience the love of Jesus through the way we serve. 🤍

Every day here, we pray over each person who walks through our clinic doors.
A young man came in with panic attacks he could barely describe. Our team sat with him, gave him a Bible, and prayed with him. He walked out calmer than he walked in.
On the YWAM Liberty, we hand out medicine and we pray over the people who take it. Pray with us for the next round of clinics, or come serve alongside us.
