2026 Summer internships application period now open.
Two intensive residential internship sessions for pre vet students and 2nd year vet students are now open for applications through February 15th 2026. All documentation must be received by that date to be eligible for either session. Required documents are- bio (personal statement format), resume, 2 letters of reference and one must be from a DVM. The second letter may be from a teacher or professional who can speak to your animal care abilities. All references must be on letterhead with full contact information. References may be sent directly or by the applicant.
This program is geared towards college graduates, seniors or juniors. Due to the intensity of the program and complexity of the animals care we rarely accept a sophomore.
Dates
Session 1 – approximately May15-June 15.
Session 2 - TBD This will be an 8 week block of time that includes a stipend and the role, after training will be Keeper in Charge.
