Spaying and neutering Hawai'i Island cats today. Building a sanctuary for them tomorrow. Aloha Animal Oasis is a registered 501c3.

We are currently run by 100% volunteers and donations. Our immediate goal is to reduce the number of free roaming cats on the Big Island through TNR, and our longer term goal is to create a cat sanctuary, where cats can live out their lives safely. Our sanctuary will be a place for cats and visitors alike. Our vision is imagining the Big Island where no cats are without safe shelter.

Headline: A very cute committee meeting is underway to discuss our shrinking inventory!

Running a high-impact spay/neuter clinic means we go through essential supplies fast. One of the easiest ways to show your aloha and support our clinics is through our Amazon Wish List. You choose exactly what you want to donate, and Amazon ships it straight to our door!

1. Visit our Amazon Wish List using this link:
https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/KEY9E77POHV
2. Pick an item (big or small—they all count!)
3. Check out, and it delivers straight to our clinic hui

We had an amazing clinic yesterday (Sunday)!

Not because we serviced 120 cats.
Not because we have wonderful new volunteers.
Because the inimitable Brittany Burnett baked CUPCAKES for the volunteers! I mean, c’mon!

Since we’re still on a sugar high, let’s get right to the clinic stats:

Total Cats: 120
Total Male: 52
Total Female: 67
Total Pet Cats: 42
Total Neighborhood Cats: 78
Weight:
0-4 lbs: 36
4-8 lbs: 67
8+ lbs: 11

Mahalo nui loa to our clinic hui for doing the hard work because it just needs to be done.

Sunday's clinic is fully booked! Yay!

As always, these clinics are FREE but medical supplies aren't! Mahalo for your generous donations. It's what keeps us going.

We accept Venmo, cash, checks, and credit cards at our check-in desk

We are getting ready for our November clinics! Our visiting vet team is on board to help us spay/neuter our neighborhood cats, but first, they need a place to crash ... and some good coffee.

Unlike cats, they have good manners, wash their dishes, and won't test your coffee mugs for gravity compliance.

Another successful adoption event this past Saturday!

Among the adoptions, 4 adult cats found their forever 'ohana. Usually, folks swoon over tiny kittens (I mean, duh), so seeing the adults find homes was all the feels. Honorable mention to Max and Arthur, a bonded pair who left together!

It's also uplifting to hear adopters were adding new friends to their existing cuddle puddles. We love a multi-cat household. Long live the clowder!

Check out the photos of some of the adopted cats, and mark your calendars for the next one: November 21st. Contact [email protected] for more information.
