The IASL President, Dr. Corinthia Price, Ed.D., is honored to be speaking at the Library Insights Summit at the American Library Association Annual Conference in Chicago on June 26. She will be representing the International Association of School Librarianship (IASL). As a member of this panel, she is looking forward to joining publishers, librarians, and industry leaders for an important conversation on "Tell Us What to Publish: What Librarians Wish Publishers Knew." She is excited to share insights, learn from colleagues across the field, and explore new ways we can strengthen collaboration between publishers and librarians to better serve our communities.

IASL INTERNATIONAL AWARDS: CALL FOR APPLICATIONS (Deadline is 15 July 2026)

The International Association of School Librarianship (IASL) invites applications for its international awards. These awards recognize excellence in school librarianship, encourage research and development activities, and support participation in IASL conferences and other association activities.

Applications are invited for the following awards:

Takeshi Murofushi Research Award: https://iasl-online.org/awards/research.html

IASL Books for Children: https://iasl-online.org/awards/books.html

Applications may be in print or electronic form. Applicants should be sure to include name of the contact person, mailing address, telephone number(s), fax number, and electronic mail address as available, with the application. For more information about awards and the application process, please see the IASL Grants and Awards page at http://www.iasl-online.org/awards/index.html .

Please share widely on other listservs and networks so that non-members may apply as Award criteria permit.
