On this International Literacy Day, we join the global community in celebrating the transformative power of reading. But we are also reminded of the critical work that still lies ahead right here in our classrooms.
When a child learns to read at grade level by the third grade, their entire world opens up. They build confidence to solve complex math problems, explore science, express themselves creatively, and eventually navigate a fast-evolving digital landscape.
At RIM, our mission is to ensure every student, especially those in underserved communities, gets that fair start. By partnering with schools and using drama and music to bring phonics to life, we make learning foundational reading skills kinetic, joyful, and effective.
True literacy is about giving children:
