Kansas Keeps Courts Fair and Impartial!

“We believed Kansans four years ago when they voted overwhelmingly to protect abortion rights in the state constitution. Perhaps now the legislature will believe them, too.

“Tonight Kansans rebuffed a constitutional amendment that was designed to undermine access to abortion, mislead voters, and politicize the state’s Supreme Court. Nearly four years to the day after Kansans showed the country that their constitutional rights were not up for debate, they went to the polls again to protect fair and impartial courts. Reproductive freedom, judicial independence, and common sense came out on top tonight, just as we’ve come to expect from Kansans.”
