In a new guest commentary for the Columbia Missourian, retired family physician Dr. Robert “Robin” Blake explains why he believes repealing the reproductive freedom protections Missouri voters approved in 2024 would put Missourians at risk, and why you should vote NO on Amendment 3 this November.

Planned Parenthood Great Plains Votes PAC has endorsed 29 candidates for state and local office across Kansas and Missouri.

These candidates have demonstrated a commitment to reproductive freedom, health care access, and the ability of people to make personal health care decisions without political interference.

Missouri voters approved constitutional protections for reproductive health care in 2024, and a 2026 ballot measure would repeal those protections. In Kansas, voters rejected the 2022 Value Them Both Amendment, which would have removed constitutional protections for abortion. In 2026, Kansans reaffirmed their support for abortion access by rejecting the August ballot measure by a historic margin.

Those votes shaped the landscape we’re in today. This November, voters will again have a say in who represents their communities and what comes next for health care and reproductive freedom in Kansas and Missouri.
