We recently presented Boys & Girls Club of Janesville with a check for $10,000 i funds to support programming at the Club this year.

The Boys & Girls Club's goal is to keep families working and children safe, while also providing educational programming for their personal growth to ensure the next generation of Janesville is successful.

With the support of a generous donor like the Esther S. Geffs Advised Fund, the Janesville Generations Fund was able to fulfill the request for $10,000 to Boys & Girls Club of Janesville.

Including the $37,500 the Generations Fund has awarded in 2025 (stay tuned for more announcements!), the Janesville Generations fund has given over $464,000 to nonprofits that benefit the Janesville Community.

Last month, we were able to attend School District of Janesville, WI board meeting to present funds to Delivering Bags of Hope to expand their longstanding community initiative.

The grant application stated, “Food insecurity isn't just during the holidays. Our goal is to expand the initiative to provide snack bags to teachers for those in need, and backpacks of food for spring break.”

With the support of generous donors including the Esther S. Geffs Advised Fund, the Mae Theisen Charitable Fund, the Richard and Nancy Belle Douglas Fund and the Dave and Trina MacDougall Fund, we were able to award a check for $5,000.

Including the $37,500 the Generations Fund has awarded in 2025, the Janesville Generations fund has given over $464,000 to nonprofits that benefit the Janesville Community.

We recently presented HealthNet of Rock County Inc. with a check for $2,500 in funds to expand services to our community through the purchase of a Thuli 300 Fixed Height Table to advance HealthNet's free chiropractic care service to local clients.

HealthNet sees around 75 patients annually for regular chiropractic care, focusing on pain management without the use of narcotics. The new table will provide more effective and comfortable treatment.

With the support of a generous donor like the Esther S. Geffs Advised Fund, the Janesville Generations Fund was able to fulfill the request for $2,500 to HealthNet.

Each year we fundraise over 95% of our budget so that we remain affordable for local families. Community support is vital to helping local youth have a safe place to go afterschool and educational programming that sets them up to succeed in the future. We truly appreciate the support we received from the Janesville Generations Fund for our educational programs (STEM, literacy, art, homework help, etc.) for the next generation of Janesville.

We already have a list of improvements that is a mile long, but every idea is a great idea, please let us know your thoughts!
