A big thank you to ANGI Energy Systems for supporting local youth and our community! We recently had the opportunity to visit their team and accept a donation made possible through an employee-driven giving campaign, where staff selected a nonprofit organization to support.

As we prepare to open our new Club just around the corner from ANGI, we're grateful for community partners who believe in creating opportunities for young people to learn, grow, and succeed.

As another school year comes to a close, we're taking a moment to celebrate all that our Club kids and staff accomplished and gearing up for summer! While our members enjoyed the start of summer break, our staff prepared for Summer Camp. This week has been filled with deep cleaning, organizing program spaces, and participating in staff training to ensure we're ready to provide a safe, fun, and impactful summer experience.

One of the highlights of training was learning to Jump Up! through a jump rope program led by Cherie Wolter. Longtime supporter Mitch Pelsue introduced us to this program, and it was made possible through funding from the Janesville Morning Rotary Club Staff received hands-on training in jump rope techniques and activities that will soon become part of Club programming.

Thank you to everyone who helps make experiences like these possible. Here's to a fantastic summer at the Club! ☀️💙

🏗️ Construction Update: Every week brings exciting progress at our new Club, and we are one step closer to opening the doors to a space designed to serve more youth and more families.

The elementary playground is installed, our teen demonstration kitchen is coming together, our gym floor is complete, windows and doors are being installed, and our commercial kitchen is being set up. Thank you to everyone who has helped make this project possible.

🎓 Congratulations, Kaylin & Emilie! 🎓
Today, we're celebrating two incredible Club teens who recently graduated from high school! Kaylin and Emilie have been part of our Be Great Graduate program, where we've had the privilege of watching them grow into confident, capable young adults. Through hard work, determination, and involvement in Club activities, they have continued to challenge themselves, achieve their goals, and prepare for what's next.

Their success is also a reminder of why Janesville needs Club kids. Today's Club members are tomorrow's graduates, employees, leaders, and community members. When we invest in young people, we're investing in the future workforce and the future of our community.

A big thank you to Coach USA/ Go Van Galder for helping make our elementary after-school program possible this school year! As we start to wrap up another incredible year, we're grateful for the partnership that safely transported Club members from their schools to the Club each day. Because of this support, youth had access to homework help, enrichment activities, caring mentors, healthy snacks, and a safe place to learn and grow after school.

We did it! 🎉Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors, partners, families, and community, the Boys & Girls Club of Janesville has officially reached our fundraising goal for the “Building Great Futures for Our Youth & Community” Capital & Endowment Campaign.

This project would not have been possible without a community that believes in kids and invests in their futures. Every donation, every share, every conversation, and every act of support helped get us here. Now, we look ahead to opening the doors of our new Club in September 2026. We can’t wait to welcome our kids into a space built just for them!
