Make sure to talk to your CLTS Service and Care Coordinator to get the referral in ASAP!!

Keys are in hand and we are starting to move in and organize!!

Our MARS-Milton Area Respite Station facility is located at 713 S Janesville St, Milton, Wi in the Piggly Wiggly strip!

Huge thanks goes to all of our amazing donors and event sponsors that help us continue pushing our SPACE mission forward.

If you would have told me three years ago when we were moving onto our Janesville location that we would have a second location already, I wouldn’t have believed it.

Last summer we started respite and daily living skills programming for kids aged 3-17. We started with 18 kids amongst three programs, and five staff. This summer we had 84 kids amongst five programs and 20 staff.

This school year we are expanding even more with four new programs during the week and an additional weekend program.

As we increase our capacity to serve over 100 kids among all of our programming and two locations, we continue to need support from our community partners. If you would like to learn more about how you can support our mission, please email Kate at [email protected]

📆 SAVE THE DATES!! 📆

We have our Empowered Support Seminar Series sessions scheduled!!

Join us for these FREE seminars on the listed mornings from 10 am-Noon at the YMCA of Northern Rock County in Janesville!! HUGE thank you to the Y for offering their Parker Hall gymnasium to us for free so we can keep these seminars free for our attendees.

The schedule for each session will include 15-20 minutes of connection, a 30–45-minute topical presentation from our featured presenter, and finishing with plenty of time for questions.

Sign up for which ever topics are most important to you. Each date also has a virtual option to choose during registration. Registration required as we are holding a limit of 50 in-person attendees for each seminar.

We have NEW programming for the whole school year!!

The blue programs will be offered at our Janesville SPACE location, with weekday programming following the Janesville School District for weather delays, cancellations, and days off.

The black programs will be offered at our NEW Milton MARS (Milton Area Respite Station) location, with weekday programming following the Milton School District for weather delays, cancellations, and days off.

These programs are for pre-authorized CLTS families only. Please contact your CLTS Service and Care Coordinator to see if any of these program could fit your child's individual service plan!

We are also still looking for a few more employees at both locations, especially for our After School programming! Must be 18+ with previous special needs/childcare experience. Pay rate starting at $19/hr. Could be a great way for 18-year-old high schoolers interested in education to gain more experience working with our kiddos!!

FORE!!! We are jumping on the Golf Outing Fundraiser train...or maybe spaceship 😄 Ours is sure to be fun for the HOLE family!!

Join us as a sponsor as we bring this family fundraiser to our community!!

We are looking for 10 Hole Sponsors and 6 Prize Sponsors. Payment preferred by Sept 4th. Sponsors also get the chance to include a bag filler for each family that signs up!!

Sponsors will receive social media acknowledgement in tagged social media posts before and after the event, logo placed on all marketing materials, and signage at the event at Big Tee Mini Golf & Range!!

The Ice Age Trail Hike is coming up this weekend!!

Saturday, August 22 9am-11:00am is the WAuTD Ice Age Trail Walk in partnership with SPACE Autastic, the Autism Society of Wisconsin, and the Ice Age Trail Alliance Rock County Chapter.

Please register before Thursday, August 20 to ensure we have enough volunteers and refreshments.

Don’t forget to stop by and say ‘Hi!’ tonight at the Milton Community Day Markets from 5-8 pm!

We are doing a calendar date raffle where you pick a date (or two) and pay the date. For each $1 you spend, your name will be put into a drawing to win $100!

Money collected will go toward our supplies needed for our upcoming MARS programming!
