We're looking forward to our next event on the horizon - Girls' Night Out Rock County is partnering with Project 16:49 for a fun night of socializing and supporting our youth. As we prepare for the event, we'd so appreciate any kind donations from our wonderful community.

It's National Pizza month, and our youth have been trying to settle a debate. Does pineapple belong on pizza? 🍍🍕
Even while debating the legality of pineapple on pizza, we can all agree that a hot pizza night is the best night!
For our Wishlist Wednesday, we are looking for pizza gift cards. Help our youth have a chance to hang out and share a meal by donating. Every gift card puts a meal in the stomachs of our youth.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. 💜

This month and every month, we stand with survivors, advocate for healing, and work to ensure that Rcok County's unaccompanied and homeless youth have a safe place to turn.

We are so proud of our youth! After continuous effort, one of our youth got their drivers license. We are so proud of him for taking this major step towards stability and independence with us, and we cannot wait to see the amazing things he is going to continue to achieve. We congratulate you for hitting this milestone! 🎉

𝙒𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙒𝙚𝙙𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙙𝙖𝙮
As October arrives, we are conjuring up a very practical magic trick; keeping our housing programs tidy, clean, and welcoming! It is of utmost importance that we acquire witch-approved brooms to add to our inventory. For our youth, the ability to tidy up encourages pride in their space and helps them build fundamental skills. Whether its for a quick ride or to clean up after yourself, any donations would be amazing.

This Thankful Thursday, we are so grateful for a book loving community member who blessed us. We are completely blown away by their generosity as they bought every book and many essentials we had placed on our Amazon wish list. You have made a tremendous impact, and the youth love these new additions. 💚

𝙒𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙒𝙚𝙙𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙙𝙖𝙮
This week we are focusing on a basic necessity that makes a massive difference with our youth; LAUNDRY PODS!
For the youth in our program, clean clothes means dignity, confidence, and preparedness. Due to laundry pods being pre-measured and easy to carry, they are our preferred choice for detergent. Every donation counts, and the community's effort is greatly appreciated.

We are so proud of one of our past residents who recently graduated from First Class Cosmetology and has now been hired at a local barber shop- Hip Hop Stylez.

It’s so exciting to see her hard work paying off and to watch her pursue her passion!

One of our previous residents has turned her creativity into a small business- making custom phone cases, bedazzled headphones, and more.

She recently donated some of her handmade headphones to our program and has also made custom phone cases for our staff!

We love seeing our residents use their talents and continue to grow. Be sure to check out her creations and support her small business 💜
