This month, we recognize the invaluable contributions of workers with disabilities and celebrate the importance of creating workplaces where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.

At the Women's Foundation of Mississippi, we believe that strong communities are built on opportunity, respect, and the recognition of every person's unique talents and contributions. When barriers to employment are removed and individuals of all abilities can fully participate in the workforce, businesses thrive, communities grow stronger, and more Mississippians can achieve economic security.

National Disability Employment Awareness Month is a reminder that talent, innovation, and leadership come in many forms. By fostering accessible workplaces and creating pathways to meaningful employment, we can help ensure that every individual has the opportunity to contribute their skills, pursue their goals, and reach their full potential.

This month, we stand with survivors, honor those whose lives have been impacted by domestic violence, and reaffirm our commitment to building safer, healthier communities across Mississippi.

Domestic violence affects individuals and families in every community, regardless of age, race, income, or background. By raising awareness, supporting survivors, and advocating for resources and prevention efforts, we can help create a future where everyone can live free from violence and fear.

At the Women's Foundation of Mississippi, we believe that women and girls deserve the opportunity to thrive in safe, supportive environments. Together, we can break the cycle of violence, amplify survivor voices, and foster hope and healing.
