🙌❤️We’re back 🙌❤️

We are thrilled to announce that all rooms at Yana are back open for meetings. 😍

Thanks to your generosity and insurance, we’ve been able to complete the fire-related restoration work and as well as tackling a few mission critical maintenance items (like targeted roof and floor repairs, A/C upgrades, and a new wheelchair ramp (work in progress)). There’s more work to be done, but our main objective was to get the Clubhouse back to normal operations.

Come check out our new look and join us for our reopening celebration, Fired Up for Recovery, on Saturday, August 15. Yana Club Members annual meeting at 5, dinner is at 6, followed by a panel speaker meeting at 7pm.

Big shoutout to the crew who showed up today for final clean up, picture hanging and furniture moving. Service keeps us sober 👍😍

Mark your calendars for Yana’s big re-opening by party on Saturday, August 15. Everyone is welcome for dinner at 6pm followed by a panel speaker meeting at 7.

Yana Club members are meeting at 5pm for our annual meeting.

We are so excited to show off our beautiful, restored rooms— restoration work is almost complete.

New meeting schedule update!!

The Northeast Group’s 7 o’clock meeting and 11am meeting (Saturday only!) will be meeting at the clubhouse starting tonight! While the building is still operating at reduced capacity, all meetings will be held in the Yana room downstairs.

The following Northeast Group meeting’s will NOT be held at the clubhouse until full restoration: women’s (Thursday at 6:30 - St. James), Lambda (Tuesday at 5:30 - St. James), and Sunday 11am (Central).

Traditions meetings will continue to meet at the clubhouse as usual.

Great things are happening at Yana 🙌❤️

Yana Club update (6/17/26)
We are working hard to get the Yana Club fully restored, but don’t forget there are lots of great meetings happening during construction. We have cold air and hot coffee galore!

Here’s a quick update:
🛠️We have completed the structural repairs and framing.
💡We are working on repairing the damaged electrical system and have installed recessed lighting!
🪟We have installed new windows and exterior siding.
❄️ We have replaced and/or repaired the AC units so we can stay cool while we stay sober.

Next up, we’ll focus on Sheetrock, paint and new flooring.

Thanks for your patience as we bring the Yana Club back better than ever.

Yana Club Update (4/19/26):
We’re excited to let everyone know that we’ve selected a contractor, removed fire debris, gotten permits, and plan to start the renovation work this week. Top priority is getting power back to the building 🙌❤️.

Yana Club Update (April 1, 2026)

We are happy to announce that our remediation work is complete and the Yana Club will be open for meetings on Thursday, April 2, 2026.

Renovation work is starting soon so stay tuned for more updates.

Yana Club Update (March 29, 2026):

😊Good news. We are starting our repair work on Monday, March 30.

😳Not so good news. During the inspection of the fire damage, trace levels of asbestos were detected in the drywall dust and exterior siding (which is common in buildings the age of ours). We notified the appropriate state authorities and were required to wait ten days before starting the special remediation process to remove the drywall and siding. That will commence on Monday, March 30.

Since safety for everyone at the Yana Club is always our top priority, no meetings will be allowed inside the building through Thursday, April 2. As soon as the remediation is complete, meetings can resume. We will post an update to confirm when the building is reopening.

Following the remediation, our construction team will move quickly to restore power and renovate the building to full functionality.

😩The really, really not so good news. We need your financial support, now!! The asbestos remediation will cost ~$12,000 and it is not covered by our insurance. Yana Club President, Emma M. is leading our capital fundraising effort (for this and other work needed). Please help us get the Yana Club back on its feet with a contribution at yanaclubms.com. 🙌❤️
