In August, D4HC and some awesome volunteers came together for freezer-meal prep!! We had a blast in the kitchen, and we were so thankful for some new faces and friends! Friday night prep was not pictured (though efforts did not go unnoticed) as we were able to make 430 meals on Saturday! Praise God!! We hope these meals are nourishing to those who receive them! We look forward to our next prep on November 14th. We’d love for you to join us!

Another meal-prep day in the books!! This past Friday afternoon and Saturday, the D4HC team and multiple volunteers cooked up frozen meals for the Hope Lodge and other individuals undergoing cancer treatment in the local Jackson area!

We are so incredibly grateful for the Lord’s goodness and provision! A week before meal prep, we had barely any volunteers. On meal-prep weekend, we had multiple friends, family, and new volunteers show up and show out! Together, we crafted 274 meals and even a little lemony treat for the guests and caretakers at the Hope Lodge!

We are looking forward to our next freezer meal-prep August 21-22nd.

On Friday, the American Cancer Society and Hope Lodge presented the 2025 Outstanding Team Award to our Dietitians 4 Healing Creations team. We want to thank God for His provision, guidance, and for how He continues to bless us so we may bless those around us. We are deeply honored to receive this award and appreciative of the recognition! We are truly grateful for our board members, volunteers, family, and friends who continue to support us on this journey! We could not do this without all of you! 🫶🫶🫶
