Every student has a story worth telling. Sometimes, a blank comic book page is the perfect place to start.

Justin Ransburg of JXN Comics joined us for a SUPER special night at Red Door Jackson, helping students and adults bring their ideas to life through comic books. Thank you, Justin, for sharing your talent and showing our students what’s possible!

This semester has been off to a great start. We’re grateful for community partners who help our students discover their gifts and build the confidence to use them.

We can’t wait to be back together next week!

Mentoring is SO back!!!

Families are connecting, mentees are settling in, and mentors are showing up ready for the year ahead.

That’s what we love about Red Door Jackson. It really does feel like one big family.

We’re so excited for another year of Tuesday nights!!!

A simple snack can help set the tone for a student’s entire Tuesday night!

Before homework and mentoring begin at Red Door Jackson, each student receives a snack. After recreation, we make sure they have bottled water too.

You can help make that possible!

Sponsor one Tuesday for $50 or one month for $200. You can also provide 50 individually packaged snacks and 80 bottles of water for a Tuesday night.

Your support helps create a welcoming environment where students can focus on the relationships and opportunities in front of them.

Prefer to provide snacks or water directly? Email [email protected] to schedule your drop off.

Maybe mentoring isn’t your thing. There’s still a place for you at Red Door!

Volunteers help make Tuesday nights happen, from welcoming families and helping with activities to stepping in for practical needs throughout the evening. There are also opportunities to serve at special events during the year.

You can serve regularly or find a place that fits the time you have.

A good Tuesday night can go a long way.

Red Door Jackson gives students a place to build a consistent relationship with a mentor who gets to know them and encourages their growth throughout the school year.

There’s time for homework and plenty of room to simply be together, all within a Christ-centered mentoring community.

What can happen when you give one Tuesday night a week to one student?

That’s the idea behind mentoring at Red Door Jackson. Mentors build consistent relationships with students throughout the school year, with time for conversation, academic support, and discipleship along the way.

You don’t have to be an expert. Red Door gives you the structure and support. You bring the willingness to get to know a student and keep showing up.
