💜 October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month 💜

Soroptimist International of Hutchinson is proud to stand alongside Soroptimists across the Americas in supporting this quarter’s Soroptimists UpliftHER: Intimate Partner Violence initiative.

For women experiencing intimate partner violence, rebuilding their lives means more than finding safety. It means having access to the resources, education, and support needed to rebuild confidence, achieve financial independence, and create a brighter future.

That’s where the Soroptimist mission makes a difference.🩵

Through education, economic empowerment, and meaningful community partnerships, we can help women recognize their potential, discover new opportunities, and take steps toward a future filled with hope and independence.

Great news! We are launching a new project to help young women in our community! See the flyer below for more information. We are planning to collect items for our new EmpowHER Project at the Dillon’s Marketplace (30th) in Hutchinson, KS on June 12th and 13th from 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM.

If you’d like to donate items on a different date, please take the items to Trinity United Methodist Church before June 15th.

Thank you for your help in supporting and empowering young women! Having proper hygiene essentials is a luxury for some and we are happy to help these young women when they need it! 😁💪🏼🩷

It is with great pleasure that we got to award our very own Madam President, Jane Holzrichter, with the 2025 Soroptimist Outstanding Club Member Award! Jane is very knowledgeable, determined, organized, positive, motivational, passionate, collaborative, and so much more! We are so grateful and blessed to have such an OUTSTANDING leader as our President! Thank you so much, Jane, for all you do for our club and for our community! 💙

We had a wonderful time at our March Social last night! We gave out our Community Impact Awards and Live Your Dream Awards. We are so grateful to provide these women with funds towards continuing their education and can’t wait to see their success! Congratulations to our Community Impact Award winners: Kensley Keast and Hannah Kahn (not in attendance)! And congratulations to our Live Your Dream Award winners: Sara Collins and Karrie Self! It was a great pleasure to learn a little bit about these ladies and their future plans. We wish you all the best! Dream BIG! 💙
