Strong communities make room for people to feel seen, heard, and supported.

WIM is excited to share Feel Fest Hutchinson Kansas’ call for volunteers! Creating spaces where we can talk openly about mental health, build connections, and ask for support matters for our youth, families, and our whole community. Sometimes, speaking up starts with knowing someone is there to listen.

Feel Fest takes place October 9–10, with a Moonlight Dance, A Run to Remember, workshops and booths, and an evening of film and community conversation.

Want to help make it happen? No experience is needed! Grab a friend and volunteer. Giving a little of your time can help someone else feel welcome and connected. 🌱

Fishing Derby, Part 2! 🏆 🎣

We’re back with more photos from our Fishing Derby with Lil' Hawks Early Childhood Programs! Help us celebrate our derby winners and every young angler who came out to cast a line, learn something new, and enjoy the day together.

After all that fishing, everyone gathered for lunch provided and cooked by WIM’s Executive Director, Mike Jobe! Thank you, Mike, for feeding our crew and helping make the day so special.

We’re grateful to Lil Hawks for partnering with us. What we can create for our youth when community partners come together is out of this world. Take a look at Part 2 and help us cheer on our winners! 🎉

Here’s a sneak peek at today’s Lil Hawks Fishing Derby at Carey Park! It was a joy to see children and families spend the morning fishing, trying something new, and making memories together. 🐟

Thank you to Lil' Hawks Early Childhood Programs for partnering with Wisdom in Motion. Collaborations like this bring people together, open up new experiences for our kids, and help our community keep growing. 💙

We’ll continue adding photos to this album tomorrow to announce the winners publicly, so check back for more!

A few of our favorite moments from the Kansas State Fair! 💚🌱

Thank you to everyone who stopped by WIM’s Future Farmers, Founders & Foodies activities. From our youngest visitors to the young at heart, we had so much fun learning, creating, and connecting with you. We met so many new people and loved seeing families jump in together!

A heartfelt thank you to the Hutchinson Community Foundation for the grant that made this experience possible. We’re leaving the fair with full hearts, new connections, and so many good memories. See you next year! 🎡✨
