🚀 This weekend, the Cosmosphere was thrilled to host some of the fastest jigsaw puzzlers on the planet!

Simmie Berman, an engineer working on spacecraft like Europa Clipper and Dragonfly at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab, and EB Carron joined our Mars Academy campers for some out-of-this-world puzzling fun. 🧩

The duo introduced campers to the exciting world of competitive speed puzzling, a growing sport that’s as intense as it is fun! But what puzzle were they racing to complete? None other than a custom puzzle version of the STS-131 mission patch which was unveiled by astronaut Dottie Metcalf-Lindenburger herself! 👩‍🚀✨

Simmie and EB also wowed campers with their lightning-fast skills on other space-themed puzzles, some of which are available right here at the Cosmosphere!

A huge thank you to our special guests for inspiring the next generation of explorers one puzzle piece at a time!
