This year, the KBC pool hosted six baptisms! What a sweet gift to get to be a part of Jesus' Great Commission: "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Hearing testimonies from Everett, Anaielle, Genevieve, Chloe, Joanna, and Josh was a great encouragement to the family, friends, church family, and KBC family listening. We are grateful for the chance to celebrate this public declaration of their decisions to follow Jesus!

Staff Camp is coming up quickly! If you were on Staff with us this summer and are not yet registered, we would greatly appreciate you taking a moment to register so we can plan well! Right now, the total count of registered boys could fit in one dorm, but we think there are more of you out there...🤔. We look forward to this time of reconnecting with each other, reminiscing over what the Lord has done this summer, and looking forward to reintegrating into our "off-season" lives. Joe Hawkinson is our scheduled speaker, as well as a split chapel as well! Please join us if you served with us on staff or counseled this summer!

Over 250 people returned to KBC today to celebrate the Lord's 70 years of faithfulness to provide for and sustain the camp. Many stories were shared of God's goodness to the generations of campers and staff that have served here. It was a delightful sight to behold, even in the Kansas heat. Thank you to all who came today and shared in it with us. We're already dreaming of plans for the 75th Reunion!

Last week, we had 120 High School freshmen and sophomores attend our High School 1 camp. We celebrated Missions and tasted different foods from around the world. We got to have Navajo fry bread, Austrian bierocks, Scottish scones, Kenyan stew, and Indian kebabs. We were grateful for the campers' participation in the cultural activities we did and their willingness to try new things! As you can see from the photos, it was a joy to everyone who attended!

Please pray as we had about a dozen professions of high schoolers placing their faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior last week. Many of them have been coming since grade school, and the Spirit was at work this last week in their hearts. We are grateful for the many souls the Lord sends us each week.

We're all set for our second week of Junior High Camp that started this afternoon!

Junior high campers trekked to a spot along Cow Creek for an outdoor chapel this evening! We’re grateful for a break from the heat as clouds rolled in and cool wind arrived. Who was your first counselor? 🤔

Grade School 1 Counselors were a joy! These 21 teenagers came off of LTC eager and excited to counsel! At KBC, our counselors go through two years of training in gospel content and sharing so they're ready for those one-on-one conversations about eternal things!

The counselors live in the dorms with the campers, attend camper chapels, turn off lights at bedtime, help tie shoelaces and find missing flip flops, listen to their memory verses, and play the games with the campers. They build relationships and memories and get to share Jesus with them as an extension of that friendship.

There were many professions of faith this past week, and we love that God allows these teenagers a front row seat to watch Him work.

"How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? How, then, can they call on him they have not believed in? And how can they believe without hearing about him? And how can they hear without a preacher? How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, 'HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO BRING GOOD NEWS OF GOOD THINGS!'” -Romans 10:14-15
