1125 N Main, Hutchinson | 620-860-9346
107 N Main, McPherson | 620-504-6550 For those individuals with disabilities for whom the challenges are too great to achieve competitive community-based employment, The Clayworks offers a significant opportunity for creativity and artistic expression as well as the opportunity to earn an income that often exceeds what may be otherwise available. Individuals participating in this exciting endeavor, choose their level of contribution to the artistic process, from the design, to the production, finishing and even marketing of the finished pieces. The flexibility of the creative process allows for virtually everyone to participate at a level of their choosing while working at times that are convenient and enjoyable for them. Disability Supports’ commitment to The Clayworks success is evidenced by our ongoing efforts to expand the scope of both the products produced and now, the new studio and retail store. With the training support from local professional artists who share our participant’s creative enthusiasm, it is our goal to provide all of the support necessary to build on the existing success for our artists. To that end, Disability Supports bears all of the costs of equipment, staffing and materials so that all of the proceeds from each sale compensate the creative efforts of the individuals who participate. Thank you for recognizing the incredible efforts of our artists. Your support helps to perpetuate and grow an innovative program that is as unique as the individuals we serve.
