ise available. Individuals participating in this exciting endeavor, choose their level of contribution to the artistic process, from the design, to the production, finishing and even marketing of the finished pieces. The flexibility of the creative process allows for virtually everyone to participate at a level of their choosing while working at times that are convenient and enjoyable for them. Disability Supports’ commitment to The Clayworks success is evidenced by our ongoing efforts to expand the scope of both the products produced and now, the new studio and retail store. With the training support from local professional artists who share our participant’s creative enthusiasm, it is our goal to provide all of the support necessary to build on the existing success for our artists. Celebrating creativity, imagination, and the joy of childhood 🎨💐

We're proud to showcase these beautiful works of art created by the talented children in the blue preschool room at Kids Kampus in honor of the Week of the Young Child. Each piece is a reminder of the importance of nurturing young minds and encouraging self expression from the very start.

Thank you to the Kids Kampus artists for brightening our space and our day! 💙

🔬🎨 Science + Clay = Creativity in Motion!

We recently had the pleasure of hosting Stefan Carlin from the Cosmosphere STEAM Program along with virtual students from Ad Astra Academies here at The Clayworks!

During their visit, four students explored the art and science behind creating Pythagoras Cups (also known as “greedy cups”). They learned how to throw clay on the potter’s wheel, hand-form components, and discover the fascinating physics that makes these cups work.

The timelapse in this video shows the process of adding the handle, which actually functions as the hidden siphon that causes the cup to drain if it’s filled past a certain point.

A perfect example of how art, engineering, and curiosity come together in the studio.

Thank you to Cosmosphere and Ad Astra Academies for exploring with us!
