Kansas Mennonite Relief Sale The Relief Sale is run by an all volunteer staff from the sale chair to board to committee members to help the weekend of the sale.

The Kansas Mennonite Relief Sale (kansas.mccsale.org) is sponsored by Kansas Mennonite, Brethren in Christ and Amish congregations to raise funds for MCC, a world relief organization (www.mcc.org) Relief sales are organized throughout North America with 85% of all proceeds going to Mennonite Central Committee. The Kansas Sale annually strives to raise all expense money prior to the sale in order that the money raised the days of the sale can be donated to MCC.

Our Celebration is on for tonight at Carol & Maynard’s Farm (1582 Falcon, Hillsboro). If you RSVP’d, dinner is at 6:00pm and everyone is welcome to join us for the program at 7pm. Don’t forget your lawn chairs!

JUST A REMINDER THAT RESERVATIONS WERE REQUIRED FOR THE MEAL PORTION OF THIS EVENT. If you would still like to come and join us for the presentation at 7pm, you are welcome to do that!

We are excited to celebrate the success of another MCC Sale this Friday, June 5, 6:00 pm at Maynard and Carol's farm! We will be presenting a BIG check to MCC from the proceeds from the Sale.

The weather is unpredictable but no matter what the weather is on Friday, we will be celebrating with a backup plan of moving the celebration to Tabor Mennonite Church if we are unable to be outside.

A post will be made by Friday afternoon to confirm the location. Hopefully it will be at Maynard and Carol's farm. Remember your lawn chair! If weather does not allow that, it will be at Tabor Mennonite Church.

We have a long standing tradition to recognize our oldest runner and Francis Habiger takes this prize again at 87 years young! His sons Michael and David also participated. You continue to inspire us Francis!!!

The heart of our race is the fundraisers and that’s why we give our biggest award to our top fundraiser, Karen Loganbill! Karen was once again our top fundraiser bringing in $5,635 for Mennonite Central Committee - MCC and takes home the Brown's Shoe Fit Hutchinson gift certificate for her efforts. Debbie Classen ($4,000), Les Goerzen ($3,200) and Denise Nickel ($1,700) also provided large contributions with many more providing $500+ contributions in our ‘Go the Extra Mile’ challenge to earn a sweatshirt! Thank you all!!!
