At Lincoln Health’s Dancing for a Cause Event, our donors allowed us to pay for 3 months of mortgage payments totaling over $6,000 for Lance and Kailee Stephens’ as they prepare to live in Birmingham for Lance’s upcoming transplant surgery.

Lance Stephens was diagnosed with testicular cancer on 3/6/2024 and then with mast cell sarcoma on 4/3/2026. He graduated from Lincoln County High School in 2005 and formerly coached basketball there and is still a teacher there.

Lance's second battle with cancer has required visits with specialists across the country due to the rarity of his type of cancer. Lance will be admitted to UAB in October for a week of chemotherapy to prepare for a possible transplant the following week. He will stay in the hospital for an unknown time while recovering.

Today is our Community Care Day for cancer patients in Madison County and Limestone County (AL)!

Much needed yard work will be completed at (7) cancer patients’ homes by volunteers from our church partners. Four of these churches are serving with us for the first time:

All Christ Church
Clements Baptist Church
Faith Fellowship Global Methodist Church
First Bible Church Madison
Lindsay Lane Baptist Church (West Campus)
Mount Zion Baptist Church
Oakley Baptist Church

By meeting these patients’ tangible needs, we are able to share the gospel and pray with each of them and their families.

✨Meet our 3rd Annual Hope Endure’s Gala Honoree’s: Austin and Ashton Lee✨

Ashton Lee endured breast cancer treatment in 2024 and had a double mastectomy in December 2024. She also received radiation in the first part of 2025.

Her two year old son, Grayson, was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma last month, January 2026. Sarcoma is cancer of soft tissue (such as muscle), connective tissue (such as tendon or cartilage), or bone. Rhabdomyosarcoma usually begins in muscles that are attached to bones and that help the body move. He is currently a patient at St. Jude’s in Memphis.

The Lee Family were beneficiaries of our 2026 Slawburger Chase 5k!

We can’t wait to hear their story about all God has brought them through for His glory!
