In two weeks our friends in Portsmouth will be hosting their yearly Hamfest. Just a short drive down the river from Huntington. They will be at a new location and I am told the parking is much better there than the previous location.

We have John K8ELS doing our first session for the day at the TARA hamfest. If you were interested in POTA and you are not here you missed a great presentation.

The flooding and storm damage in our region is severe in spots. We hope that everyone safely weathered the storms that rolled through our area all day yesterday. Our thoughts and prayers are with those that have been affected by all of this weather.

We are around a month away from the largest Hamfest in the region. Currently all seventy tables are sold out and have been for awhile. We are working to see if we can fit more and are likely going to have to look into a larger location next year. We will allow people to tailgate or setup a table outside with the price of admission weather permitting. Updates and additional information will be posted on Facebook as we get closer to the event.
