Your brain wasn’t designed to respond to every notification, thought, email, and distraction all at once.

Constantly switching your attention can leave you feeling mentally exhausted, even when you haven’t done that much.

Try giving your brain fewer things to process at once. You might be surprised how much lighter you feel.

Will you help turn $1,000 into $3,000?

“Hi friends,
As most of you know, I recently stepped aside from my role as Executive Director of icuTalks, and the wonderful Dominique Johnson has taken the reins as our new E.D. Before you receive our next newsletter highlighting all the incredible work she’s already doing, I have one simple request.

A good friend of mine recently surprised me by donating $1,000 to icuTalks. As if that wasn’t generous enough, she then said:
“If your community can match my $1,000, I’ll give another $1,000.”

So, friends, I’m coming to you.
If we can raise $1,000 together, her generosity turns into $2,000—and together, we will have put $3,000 toward the work and future of icuTalks.

Whether you can give $25, $50, $100, or more, every gift gets us closer to unlocking that second $1,000.

As the founder, I have believed in this ministry and this community for a very long time. And I cannot think of a better way to support Dominique as she leads icuTalks into its next chapter than to remind her:
This community is behind you.

Will you help us match the $1,000?”

If everything feels like too much lately, you’re not alone.
Sometimes overwhelm isn’t a sign that you’re not doing enough. It can be a sign that you’ve been carrying too much for too long.

You don’t have to solve everything today. Take one small step. Ask for support. Give yourself room to breathe.
